The cattery

Ten years of the same three lines.

I grew up with Persians and never stopped. Everything here is one small in-home cattery — no cages, no separate building. The cats sleep on the furniture, the kittens grow up around the vacuum and the doorbell and whoever comes over, which is exactly why they settle so fast when they get to you.

I breed to the CFA standard for dollface — the older, rounder Persian face, with an actual nose. They breathe better and their eyes run less than the flat-faced show type. I test the parents before I breed them, and I don't breed a cat that doesn't come back clear.

Every kitten here is placed as somebody's pet. That's the whole point.

The color index

Twelve colors, one breed.

Persian color is a formal classification, not a description — a blue point and a lilac point are two different things, and the price is the same. Pick one to see it.

Silver chinchilla

White undercoat with black-tipped guard hairs, so it reads silver in daylight and white indoors. The dark rim around the eyes and nose is the breed marker — it's pigment, not makeup.

Before they leave

What's already done by the time you meet.

Nothing on this list is an upsell. It's the baseline for every kitten that leaves here.

Parents tested clear

PKD and HCM negative by DNA. FeLV, FIV, FIP and heartworm negative.

Vet checked and vaccinated

First round of shots, dewormed, and a negative fecal test for parasites.

One-year health guarantee

Written, covering genetic conditions. Health certificate and birth certificate come with them.

Litter and scratch-post trained

Fully weaned, eating wet and dry, drinking water. Ten weeks old, not eight.

Socialized in a busy house

Raised around children and dogs, so noise and handling are normal to them.

Starter kit in the carrier

Wet and dry food, dishes, litter box, litter, toys — and a blanket that smells like mom and their littermates.

On registration papers: kittens are placed as pets only, so CFA papers aren't issued with them. The cattery is CFA-registered and the parents are pedigreed — but these kittens aren't sold for breeding or showing. If you're looking for a breeding cat, Kelle will tell you straight that this isn't the right litter.

The parents

You're allowed to meet them.

A breeder who won't show you the mother is telling you something. These eight live here, on the furniture.
